Richard Stroman

Founder and President

rich-stromanMr. Richard Stroman is founder and president of Innovative Light Therapy (ILT) and has more than 25 years of experience in the technical and business development fields and in the startup, growth and management of successful technology-based businesses. He has been an officer of two public companies and has numerous issued and pending patents in the fields of light and optics, machine vision and novel business method patents.

Mr. Stroman currently serves as president of Innovative Light Therapy, Inc. and president of Innovative Audio Video, LLC, a local company started in 2005, which is dedicated to serving the residential and commercial markets with custom technology integration of computers, automation, audio, video and lighting solutions.

Prior to founding Innovative AV, Mr. Stroman served as an officer and executive vice president, where he headed the Verifeye Business unit for eMerge Interactive. Previously he was vice president of Business Development at eMerge Interactive, Inc. in Sebastian, Florida. A $500M company, eMerge was a world leader in the offering of technology-based tools and commerce for the beef cattle industry. He had been with eMerge Interactive since the IPO in 2000, where he also led all intellectual property and technology licensing efforts, including technology and manufacturing alliance agreements.

Prior to joining eMerge Interactive, Mr. Stroman served in a number of high profile positions including Vice President and General Manager of KEY/AgriVision (KTEC) and Director of Development Engineering for Key Technology, Inc., where he managed all new product development efforts for the company. His work there led to industry accolades and recognition for the development of the Tegra product line, by the Society of Professional Engineers and the Washington Society of Professional Engineers.

Mr. Stroman also founded AgriVision Engineering, Inc. and developed patented infrared-based optical sorting systems for the detection and removal of internal pits and defects in stone fruit as well as novel color sorting systems for the olive and cherry industries, including numerous patents granted and pending for his technologies.
